Verification parameters of musical compositions

PROCESS OF VERIFICATION ON THE PORTAL EXPERTMUSIC

Verification of musical compositions is one of the most frequently asked questions. We would like to clarify the main parameters of verification of musical compositions and the length of time taken by this process.

The main advantage of ExpertMusic service, apart from its transparency, is that there is no need to tag the tracks on your own. Our team of music experts will do it for you!

The procedure of verification is carried out for tracks that have been stipulated by the contract or additional document signed by the author.

BASIC PARAMETERS, WHICH THE COMPOSITION CHECKING IS PROCEEDED:

THE FIRST PARAMETER IS QUALITY

Let us focus on the parameters of tracks that successfully underwent the verification procedure and those that were rejected.

Track rejected.

The composition is unlistenable, the music setting is of low quality or absent. The track is badly mixed. Poor quality of performance. Technical defects. The artistic value is questionable. Music works that fall under one or more parameters from this list are rejected.

Track undergoes verification.

The track meets all technical requirements, it is highly listenable, recorded and mixed to the highest standard. Excellent level of performance. Significant artistic value, development, and high quality of music setting. Music works that fall under such criteria have strong potential for being used in our activity areas!
THE SECOND PARAMETER IS CHECKING FOR PLAGIARISM

Plagiarism means that the music composition lacks originality. There may be partial similarity with another musical composition, lack of individual interpretation, or complete copying of music. Such compositions are rejected!

If there is a cover version of a musical composition the author who uploads the track is under obligation to submit documents to confirm that the copyright holder gives permission to create and promote the cover version based on the existing composition.

Musical compositions that meet the requirements and do not contain plagiarism are processed by our music editors. They are classified according to their style, tempo, mood, themes, the language and the voice of the performer (if any), instruments used, and key words.

On average, the process of verification takes about 20 minutes.

Still, one should not expect that the uploaded composition will be verified in 20 minutes, as there is a large number of tracks to be checked on equal basis. The company does not give priority to any authors or specific music styles.

Our priorities are integrity and transparency.
